Wide and Deep

Wide and Deep
Our Souls ~ vast spaces, wide and deep
where oceans of emotions weep
and drown us in our silent fears
through years and years of living.
With all intent and purpose strewn
across our fields, then gone too soon:
and if we find Love on our way?
Some stay and face the music.
What tune we hear might well decide
if we move on or if we hide
among the ruins left quaking there,
where some Loves never follow.
Our Souls remain vast spaces wide
where oceans of emotions hide
where Love might drown, or Love might fly ~
why time moves on or time stands still
will never be the question.
