In a Name….

Maxfield Parrish, In a Name
It’s there
as Light
explodes ~
scattershot
through trees.
It’s there
as tree’s
leaves quake
in Earth’s
slightest breeze.
It’s there
alone
where moaning
Silence
freezes.
It’s there, its
golden roar
can pour
no sound and
bores through night.
It’s there
shadow night
we might
baptize
Light’s Blue Hour.
That night, which
TOWERS…
Maxfield
Parrish
called it right:
Twilight.
