2020, The Burn

2020, The Burn
February and March 2020 and I
refused to watch the ‘news’ and
didn’t waste my time reading the
‘news’ or, listening to the
“Byte-Masters”, who filter the ‘news’
so that we, the less enlightened
population might somehow be
able to ‘understand’ the ‘news’.
Where is Walter Cronkite?
Because we have, through technology,
somehow lost the ‘news’. We just
finished watching “The Social Dilemma”.
Yes. You should be afraid.
It isn’t Soylent, but they are harvesting.
Us.
But, then I did (read the ‘news’) and I,
sadly, wondered where New York
could possibly bury all those
bodies, wondered if anyone
listened, did anyone hear all
those Voices of Souls cry out, as they
streamed home? Anyone care?
Anyone?
In 1976, I watched Obi Wan
tilt his head as Alderaan was
destroyed by the Death Star and murmur
that he felt a ‘disturbance’ in The Force.
Last night, I asked Peter what it
might sound like if every human
on earth were suddenly killed by
an asteroid (we were watching
Armageddon): would it be like
a choir, rising ~ or like billions of
frightened energies huddling
in the terror of ‘not knowing’?
Burn, Baby, Burn was one cry from the 60’s.
I always cringed at those hateful words.
Implode – collapsed in on my own Soul.
What Road is this? What Journey, astray?
Everything’s a matter of perspective.
Everything SHOULD be a matter of love.
What would Jesus do???

Love each other as brothers and sisters on this spaceship we call earth. Manage the spaceship earth so as to sustain all its resources and all that lives on it as if the resources are finite and that which lives are our children.
YES. YOU.
