12-21-2018 Solstice

12-21-2018 (Solstice) by Barbara Helvey Hughes
Silence is seldom golden.
Ask for what you want.
God, The Universe or
whatever you call your
Higher Power
awaits your request.
Keep growing, moving.
Don’t be afraid of change ~
it holds the seeds of growth.
Doubt – but only occasionally.
(It is a wise exercise, which might
inspire lively debate.) Read. Think.
Do.
Be.
Remember: be
contemplative
in your requests.
The Universe
will, ultimately,
take care of you.
We are as perfect as we
imagine ourselves to be.
We are as Loving, as kind, as compassionate,
as forgiving and as tolerant as we choose.
Choose carefully.
In the time we live within
fear abounds. Warrior against fear.
Walk on, Bright Tribe.
Walk on…

I just think a lot and read a lot. I would reccommend any books by these authors: C.S. Lewis, Teilhard de Chardan, Thomas Merton, and any overview of philosophy, which includes the great philosophers. I am, also, a student. Keep learning and don’t take, too seriously, what others tell you or ask you to believe. You are well-equipped in your own heart, mind and Spirit to ferrett out the Truth – your Truth. Be well and stay safe. Thank you for reading. Blessings, Barbara
