Love is the language of Thanksgiving.

Love is the language of Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving, 2020

The giving of thanks must, surely, mark a great advancement in civilization. To be of sound enough mind to even think about gratitude marks those doing the thanking as introspective thinkers. And, it’s not necessary to believe in God or some other divine being, to be thankful. All gratitude takes is an open heart and mind, an awareness of an inkling of something, some force deeper, wider, more encompassing that the one doing the thinking and the thanking. Some of us choose to label that force “God”, but we could call it anything, couldn’t we? The important thing isn’t the naming, it’s the identifying and the thanking.

Personally, I do believe in a Power greater than myself, and because of that I am constantly gazing around and finding reasons for my own Gratitude: YOU are one of those reasons and so this Thanksgiving, while still in the middle of a Kafkaesque pandemic situation surrounded by much deep loss, I see the glint of Hope ~ I see countless manifestations of Love, of helping those who need it and of focusing on what we can do, together, to right the wrongs we observe and to be of assistance to those not nearly as Blessed as we.

Happy Thanksgiving, my Friends. May you and your Loved ones be aware of your Blessings and may you live a life of conscious Love. May your Thanksgiving be about Thanks and Giving.

So, Thanks, to YOU.

Love is the language spoken here.
