How can we know?

It isn’t so much what we think.
It isn’t so much what we say.
It’s what we feel.
Sometimes words fail.
 
I want to share this feeling
with you, but fear creeps in.
So the thing I probably
should say remains unsaid:
and, we never know.
 
Choices ~ we all have them:
we all make them.
Do we make mis-takes?
Perhaps, not. 
We receive transmissions
and we act upon them.
Or, not.
 
So, if I do not share
these emotions with you,
if I am cautious it must
be for the best. Right?
We may never know.
 
Un-birthed, a thought, a feeling
translates to nada. How can it
possibly be otherwise?  It cannot.
Messages.  We all receive them.
 
We all receive them.
The greater question:
