Some of us dig our heels in, kicking and screaming.\u00a0 Most of us know change is inevitable and we re-program our brains so its easier to accept and move along.\u00a0 I find it\u2019s smoother and less stressful to reconfigure my thinking patterns.\u00a0 Usually this leads to an easier shift and a more positive response to impending change.\u00a0 It\u2019s amazing, looking back, at how beautifully perfect things work out in life, if we hang in there and keep Faith in our decisions and in the overall energy of whatever God may be.\u00a0 It\u2019s the old \u201cforest or trees\u201d concept.<br>\u00a0<br>It doesn\u2019t always follow that we receive what we envision, or what we intend, or what we want\/desire; but, it does always follow that whatever we receive has, at its core, something to teach us.\u00a0 And, yes, we will need and use every bit of information and experience that finds us.\u00a0 There is a seed of importance in all situations.\u00a0 Sometimes we just have to excavate deeper to find it.\u00a0 Sometimes it may not reveal itself, for years.\u00a0 When we cultivate the desire to learn to \u201cconnect the dots\u201d we usually find a vast quantity of dots out there, all alone, awaiting us.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Everything pushes us along our path. \u00a0Life, somehow, works for our betterment: if we don\u2019t get too much in our own way.\u00a0 Even the \u2018bad\u2019 stuff falls into place.\u00a0 Decades ago, when a doctor blinded me permanently, in my right eye, I could not have imagined I would one day find positive \u201clessons learned\u201d embedded in that experience.\u00a0 I have, though: and they\u2019ve been some of my most important.\u00a0 Go figure.<br>\u00a0<br>As I watch my Son and other young ones jump those Leaps of Faith, sometimes my breath sticks in my throat.\u00a0 I want, desperately, to ensure their success, their safety, their comfort, their strong moral Core.\u00a0 I want to wave my Glinda wand and make everything smooth, comfortable, easy for them.\u00a0 But, I can\u2019t.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>My parents didn\u2019t make it easy for me ~ I knew I had a safety net if I found myself in dire circumstances, but I also knew they expected me to find my way out of what I found my way in to \u2013 and, they allowed me to do that.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>My late husband, Jack, and I developed a finely-honed ability to think outside just about any box we created for ourselves.\u00a0 It\u2019s a great ability to have, especially if you want to be an entrepreneur.\u00a0 I\u2019m fortunate I have located another such Soul, in Peter.<br>\u00a0<br>I have complete Faith in my Son and the other younger members of the generation I Love so very much.\u00a0 Every one of you ~ I know you\u2019ll walk through whatever comes your way, with your hearts and heads up and full.\u00a0 Should you need help at any juncture, there are those who Love and Believe in you and TRUST you ~ so, you will find it. \u00a0Even if it\u2019s just an ear to listen to your fears or a hug when you feel down and alone.<br>\u00a0<br>The hardest thing, for me, in developing a sense of, and a belief in, our own entrepreneurship was that we had a child and my inclination was to \u201cbe safe\u201d and take the well-travelled road, not the one LESS travelled.\u00a0 I am grateful Jack forced my hand so often ~ we had to beat our way through forests of challenges.\u00a0 My life experiences multiplied, because of it.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Nothing is wasted to an alert mind.<br>\u00a0<br>Most importantly is to keep Faith; keep moving forward into your life.\u00a0 Keep learning \u2013 everything counts, even having to ask for help!\u00a0 Believe in your journey and yourself.\u00a0 \u00a0It will all work out, eventually.\u00a0 Jack used to say, \u201cBarb, it may not work out the way you think it will, or hope it will, but it WILL work out for our betterment.\u201d<br>\u00a0<br>Without a cue, Peter said the very same thing to me.\u00a0<br>Sometimes you just know\u2026.<br>\u00a0<br>Faith.<br>Love is the language spoken here.
