Light…

Light
 
Only in darkness does
Light burn bright.
Only when all seems lost
Can courage rise, undeterred.
Heroes we hope for
Arrive, during our deepest trials.
 
Those heroes are you and me.
 
Whatever, whomever attempts to
Divide us must, surely, unite us further
As we approach Awareness.
 
Darkness is merely lack of light.
When dark becomes apparent, obvious –
You bring your Light.
I’ll bring mine.
 
Let us agree to “Meet in the Field”*
In the midst of that darkness
And when we all bring our Light
It will be dark, no more.
