Who needs a map, anyhow?

Who needs a map, anyhow?

Where? by Barbara Helvey Hughes

I don’t possess a road map.
No, none are hidden here.
But if I had a road map
still, nothing would be clear.

The way we make our way
along life’s pitted course?
Keep an eagre, open heart
and one eye on the Source.

And if that Source sounds weakly
if dark sweeps through your Soul
remember Love and ego
in equal measure, roll.

Like Shel’s cuddly Missing Piece
we’ve nothing, here, to prove.
The key to any happiness
must be to try to find our groove.

I don’t possess a road map.
No, none are waiting, here.
But if I had a road map.
I’d share it with you, Dear.

I’m glad to have you here…
