Little i, BIG why

Impermanence ~ the I and We
I Love you.
That’s all I know.
I think I know
a lotta things
but I don’t.
In actuality
I know very little.
But I know this:
I Love you.
Sometimes
there is great
freedom in
surrender. So ~
I surrender.
To impermanence.
Emotional turmoil
keeps me stirred up ~
away from Love.
Like a wall
I can’t scale:
a lock
I can’t pick.
Spikes in my heart.
My Scared Heart?
A slow burn of
grief and sorrow.
I believe we are made
to exist within
Love. To Love
and to be
Loved. Otherwise,
nothing balances.
We TILT like the
pinball machine
I learned to
play in college.
Lights flash
whistles shriek
everything
happens at once
and we get scared.
We become like
that machine ~
we freak out ~
I freak out
outta control.
Impermanence:
nothing lasts forever.
And why should it?
Within ‘forever’ exists
laziness, predictability,
contentment, lack of passion.
We become but
shadows of our truest Beings.
The ‘good’ stuff
comes and goes.
Does that mean
the ‘bad’ stuff
comes and stays?!
We get what we
need when we
need it and are
ready to experience
and process it.
Impermanence.
Wanna play?
